Stained Glass Fusion and Plating

Stained Glass Plating

Glass plating is a technique used to further enhance the beauty of stained glass. It is a method by which multiple layers of glass are combined to create a desired effect. I usually use glass plating to create depth, add shadowing effects, change a color, or add a texture.

Stained Glass Fusion

Glass fusion is used to create depth, texture and add details by kiln firing confetti (thin shards of glass), frit (small granules of glass), and stringers (thin rods of glass) on to a base layer of glass.
